Papaya and I had a better day so far….
we woke up at 7:30 a.m. when she FILLED her diaper. We cleaned out the fridge and made homemade strawberry ice cream which felt nice. We took a trip to Central Market and picked up some crabcakes and brocollini for dinner - mmmmm!
The biggest drama was when the wife of one of Adventure Dad’ co-workers called me. She had got locked out of her house with her five month baby inside! I had to call the boat (she had no #) and get her husband home, I too rushed over to help her. Half way there I realized I really could not do much but tell her that her husband was on his way. I don’t know if my presence to help was worth taking Papaya out of her crib for her nap. Whew…glad that was not me!
Off to bed with the cranky princess. We tried the crib tonight but that just managed to piss her off to no end. We’ll keep working with naps.
