As I sit down to write Papaya is taking her morning nap. Out the window I am watching the bees eat pollen from the tree that is blooming in front of our guest room window. The world outside is damp after a rainy night, it is a beautiful view.
Jessica and Jason are coming to visit this weekend! I’ll be picking them up tonight at the airport which will hopefully go very well with Papaya. I’m hoping that she will fall asleep on the drive - if not it will be quite a drive with a yelling baby and four adults in my suddenly smaller SUV. On Saturday they will get a tour of Adventure Dad’ Submarine and then go to David’s 30th Birthday Party!!!!
I’m also into Spring cleaning this week. Yesterday I strapped Papaya into the Baby Bijorn and we cleaned and vaccumed all over this crazy house! Its been a while since it has been that clean:) Keeping myself moving - walking, cleaning, cooking - this is how I plan to beat those “refit blues.”

Like Maggie Gyllenhaal who nurses her 8 month old daughter in public and KNOWS it's not a big deal - I mean AAP says a MINIMUM of a year so why is 8 months SO shocking?Like Joley Fisher who had a homebirth and did not hide it like some pariah - her body did what it's meant to do in a place where fewer interventions lowered her risk of complications.

Not getting a vasectomy? It's maintaining critical family capability for chup building - we don't want the industrial base (ability to produce more) to erode to the point that if in time of a family emergency we needed another chup - and would have to source out to another family because we've lost the ability to make more chups.
