It seems like Spring has sprung here in Poulsb along with LOTS of rain to keep those flowers coming. The temperature stays in the 50s and 60s which is nice, but I miss the sunny days of Winter.
Last night Adventure Dad and I laid sleepy Papaya in her cradle for a nap and took to the hot tub for 15 minutes. Boy was that a mistake. Although she did not cry while we were gone she must have felt abandoned because she screamed at us for almost an hour after we returned. That will show us to go spending time without her! Speaking of time with her, we’ve decided to buy her a party dress and take her to Sub Ball with us on April 15th. Finding a babysitter for a breastfed baby who won’t take a bottle just seems silly and this way we can stay longer and have a better time. We’ll have to go dress shopping next week.
Tonight is a Hail and Farewell with Adventure Dad’ wardroom at the In and Out Cafe on Bangor. Adventure Dad is loosing his Communicator (the Junior Officer who works for him) which is sad. Lets hope the next one is as good!

We meant to walk today.
SPRING? by Papaya Mom on January 7th, 2007
We played at the park today with Papaya for many hours, in t-shirts! Papaya was adorable even when the 10,000 kids pushed her around some.
Snow by Papaya Mom on February 13th, 2007
The snow is coming! The snow is coming!
In the Metro DC area (Northern Virginia) where I live you would think "Snow" was another name for "a big scary monster!" The schools always go two hours late if there is a hint of ice or snow which with a two year old should not bother me BUT it means they are all in the nice daycare at my gym so Papaya is overrun by 13 year olds.
