That damn Palm Pilot

We got Adventure Dad all set up, a new computer and Palm Pilot. Then….the Palm Pilot stops working - it is a lemon! So we get to go all the way back to Seattle to get him a new one. He was using it so well for those two days, I hope this does not kill his enthusiasim.

Papaya is doing great, standing up with help for balance. She is three months old and is still just the cutest baby we’ve ever known. At the two a.m. feeding however my feelings are a bit blurry, or maybe thats my middle-of-the-night vision.

Today I am getting a massage for the first time in months! My doula, Carla, is in town for a few days and is doing a few massages. Donna Kain is watching Papaya - having had a colicy baby I KNOW she can handle any crying that comes up. I’ll feed Papaya right before I go and then right when I get back.

Last night I had a few wardroom wives over to put together post-ORSE goodie bags for the guys & the picture calendar. I made burgers on my panini grill and they were GREAT! I also roasted potatoes and Greta brought a salad, Kazu brought Sushi and Darcy brought root beer for root beer floats! It sure is nice to have a group of wardroom wives who I enjoy having over.

Off to tend to the princess….

It's how I felt - without internet (on MY beloved Macintosh computer - I had access via my 'rents PC but PCs hate me and it's just not the same) for what I think may have been an eternity but Adventure Dad assures me was only a few weeks.
