Papaya is out and I’m home alone. I don’t really know what to do with
myself. Adventure Dad took her in the BOB stroller for a run. She smiled
at me as they left, excited for the bumpy ride which she now
considers fun.
I’m making dinner of course, but other than that, what am I to do? I
could shave my legs, clean the house, or who knows what else.
Instead I’m updating all my friends and family on our life.
Today was Adventure Dad’ last day of work for a few days, he got home at 1
p.m.! Tomorrow the Liberty is going in to the shop to get fixed up,
it needs 90,000 mile maintenance and to be detailed. We paid it off
today, so we’ll call this visit to the Jeep dealership a
celebration. Now if we can manage to avoid any new cars, we will be
without any debt for a bit which should be nice. Next, we move, and
then buy a house. We will then be in mortgage debt forever like most
other Americans.
On Thursday Adventure Dad has to go in for a “mandatory social” with the
commodore. Um, mandatory AND social?!?! It sort of takes the fun
out of it all and leaves us without going to Mt. St. Helens as we had
planned. Maybe we’ll switch a few things around….go to the
Mountain after we drop off the LIberty, then pick up Donna at the
airport on the way home on Wednesday night.
