It was inevitable. I’m a Mom and my child vomited on me, in public no less. As I was about to eat. It smelled awful. There was a lot of it. I gagged at the smell and managed not to throw up myself, barely. Adventure Dad took her and cleaned her off while I cleaned myself off, paid the bill and got our food to go.
Papaya threw up on Friday, has been a bit lethargic on and off over the weekend, and now is sleeping with her Dad. She’s quite tired but the fever came down. I’ll take her to Dr. Brown in the morning to make sure it is none of the “worst case scenarios” I found at www.askdrsears.com .
No workout for me tomorrow morning, which will be my fifth day in a row without a workout. I sure hope she gets well soon, without the endorphins from working out I get quite blue. At the same time I’m “enjoying” all the cuddle time a sick baby gives, as much as I’d rather she was well.
