Papaya Mom

I’m sitting at the ‘puter cranky, but for no real reason.

Today we went to the mall where we procured a wonderful Christmas gift for my SisterInLaw Niki, I drew her name this year in the Petzoldt family gift exchange. It is great that I got her name since we are the two PetzoldtsByMarriage in the group and the two Moms, young Moms that is. So, I got her something I’m sure she’d like. I’d tell you more, but she may be reading! We also got a new sweater for Papaya that looks adorable on her:

Then we joined Jeff, Sonia, Gabriel and CRAZY little Michael for lunch at TGIF. It was tasty and Papaya thought Michael bouncing off the walls was the most interesting thing she had ever seen. She enjoyed some finger food, but nothing as tasty as the black beans she INHALED the other day in her high chair:

We drove home and used the time to catch up on the phone with Adventure Dad’ Mom who is finally feeling better after the longest cold ever. We spoke to Niki who is being Single Mom until Ben comes home from sea, so to celebrate both her sons got sick and Lucas quit nursing cold turkey, ow! Earlier in the day Adventure Dad spoke to Wyatt about his recent trip to China, saving the world and all, where he admitted that he ate a fish eye. I asked if they popped in your mouth, “only if you bite down on them” he replied. I squealed in horror and amusement.

I’m planning on becoming a runner, tomorrow at the gym I begin with interval training since right now I can only run 2 minutes at a time. Sonja said she was excited the first time she ran a mile, I am looking forward to such a moment.

So, off to shave my legs in hopes that it will make me feel better….
