okay I didn’t really understand the significance of this transcript until I saw the video of Bush and his Impersonator and then the video clip of Colbert’s “rebuttle” speech (3 parts).
Did the comedic dual-Bush act horrify anybody else? My co-worker showed it to me and was laughing his ass off, but I was no less than horrified. I agree that you have to find joy and happiness everywhere in life, but I think being president of the United States should be taken seriously. I guess I just didn’t think it was funny because everything was glaringly true, and I still felt that Bush didn’t really get it. He just seemed his same dim-witted self.
