Okay, so only one “actual” baby - Adventure Dad and Papaya both have a runny nose and Papaya’s been enjoying a fever on and off all day.
We took a cuddle shower in not cold not burning hot water. A cuddle shower is where she holds onto me like a sweet little monkey with not even the energy to avoid the water splashing her face from time to time. It’s sweet and sad and sad and sweet. She napped on her own for a few hours (well alone in bed with her Dimeatap induced druggie dreams) and then took another afternoon nap with her Dad.
It’s 8, she seems well enough to be wearing Dad’s wool socks as if they were leg warmers from the eighties and this is a good sign. We may take a nice long family bath before night night comes to get us all.
Tomorrow, pancakes.
