Two years ago today I was in labor, at home in my hot tub with Adventure Dad. Today I talk to my daughter and she speaks back - in grown up words! She’s creative and funny and playful and interesting and….so much. She has made Adventure Dad and I better people, more caring about her and the world in which she lives. Our partnership has become stronger, our commitment to her never wavering.
Tomorrow we’ll celebrate, and I’ll look at her with adoration knowing that the next year is going to be even better with her in our lives.
