Like Maggie Gyllenhaal who nurses her 8 month old daughter in public and KNOWS it’s not a big deal - I mean AAP says a MINIMUM of a year so why is 8 months SO shocking?
Like Joley Fisher who had a homebirth and did not hide it like some pariah - her body did what it’s meant to do in a place where fewer interventions lowered her risk of complications.
To Gwen Steffani who babywears as does her husband, although I’m dying to spread the shoulder part of it for her and show her how much more comfortable that ring sling can be.
To celebrities who don’t hide it when they cosleep like other parents around the world - it is NOT dangerous unless you are on drugs or severely overweight so why do people act like it’s shocking?

Yea, I have to add my big “AMEN”, too! Especially the co-sleeping part. I can always find a dr to support me in nursing to at least a year, but rarely can I find one to agree w/ us for cosleeping.
