I got two this year, both very interesting. One was a cookbook my aunt put together for her telephone co-op, which was a collaboration of recipes sent in from the community. The second was a hand-me-down that my grandmother received on her wedding day in 1951. It's in amazingly good shape, and aside from recipes, includes housekeeping and entertaining tips. It's interesting to see what a "good housewife" entailed in that time period ;) Yay for new cookbooks! I got two this year, both very interesting.
