Papaya and I are walking back to our bathroom, as I was making dinner she had a bit of a accident and the stench from her panties filled the room. She does not respond well to freaking out, and honestly I don’t have the energy, so when we have accidents I sort of quietly sigh and tell her we are going to go clean her up then proceed to do just that. It’s not much worse, or maybe it’s even even, with changing diapers and we have less and less in the way of accidents every week around here.
Back to the story - we are walking (I’m walking, she’s waddling around the poop in her panties) to the bathroom and she looks up at me all thoughtful and says “this is a bummer Mom?”
“Yep” I say, “total bummer” and I keep walking - down the hall towards wipes, the toilet and a new fresh pair of princess panties.

Love this. You are such a gentle mama. We say BUMMER a lot around here, too.
Aww poor girl, that’s gotta be a horrible experience. Congrats on them getting less frequent!
